FAQ
WHAT IS THIS BLOG ABOUT?
Short answer: frangrances.
But in more details: it's about different aspects of perfumery, mainly related to sociology and religious studies, occassionally touching technically related fields like raw materials cultivations, manufacturing, marketing and the final product.
We try to not cover aspects of the industry in which we are not qualified or do not have enough empirically established knowledge.
You can find in our external resources useful blogs, peer reviewed articles etc written by professionals and qualified figures.
WILL I SEE SPONSORED OR GIFTED PRODUCTS ON THIS BLOG?
No- we do not accept 'gifted' items, and are not affiliated or sponsored by any brand. Every product reviewed and discussed was purchased by us or gifted by friends etc., but we do not advertise or collaborate in terms of marketing/publicity.
Our full stances are available on our article covering the topic of so-called 'gift/gifted product' (we do encourage to refer to any PR as 'Pr product' over 'gift' for the ones accepting PR as a more appropriate, considerate and transparent disclosing term). .
DO YOU REVIEW FRAGRANCES?
This is why we are putting effort on substituting the word 'review' on our blog, but more info about this topic are already available in the introduction to our approach to fragrance reviewing.
WHO WRITES THE BLOG?
I (Didi) mainly write the blog - you will "encounter" Reggie if writing to us an email, but does occasionally write if inspired enough.
This blog was created and ideated in equal measures by both of us- we ask to consider equally the efforts we both regularly go through to maintain the blog active.
In regards to misspellings and syntactic/grammatical errors: I, Didi, am not a native english speaker. Coming from a bilingual household and having learnt few more languages, I haven't reach yet the fluency I would like to have in english.
I deliberately ask Reggie and my friends to not point out mistakes, as re-reading/re-editing the posts is pretty much the only exercise I've noticed improving my english.
But of course I warmly welcome readers to point out my mistakes and errors!
Our blog intent is of constant self-growth and learning: the posts themselves are not to be taken as 'static' empirical datas, but rather as expressions of our own prejudices and temporarily established knowledge.

DO YOU HAVE A P.O BOX?
No we don't (and don't plan to).
We get this question occasionally as we get asked sometimes to try a specific scent followed by sharing our thoughts on the fragrance.
We highly discourage sending products you paid for to influencers, especially if full sizes.
Swaps with other fragrance enthusiasts are a safer and definitely more enriching, satisfying human & olfactory experience- without considering its equal economic effort.
CAN I CONTRIBUTE?
We'd love you to!
Get in touch with us if you want to read about a specific content, discuss any olfactory-related topic, or share your ideas on our blog (transparency and proper citation are a mandatory task for us, so we'll make our best to secure that you are properly cited and your contribution acknowledged- our last intent is to get praised for thoughts/opnions/resources that were not developed by us)!
If you are working/are involved within the perfumery industry, we are always looking to interview you!
Noses, chemists, sales assistants, manufacturers, scholars, content creators, fragrance enthusiasts, working in PR etc...
Everyone is welcome!
